Biography

Theresa Flerick is a family nurse practitioner who is certified in family practice. She has an undergraduate degree from Saint Xavier University in Chicago in Nursing, a Masters Degree from Saint Xavier University in Public Health and a Post-Graduate Certificate in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Saint Xavier University. She has been on staff at the Friend Family Health Center since 2000 seeing pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. She is licensed to diagnose, treat and prescribe medicine.

As a family practice practitioner, Theresa has many families in her practice and is able to work with her patients to assist them in achieving their optimal health. The ability to assist patients in achieving their highest level of well-being by working closely with them in their healthcare is her goal. She feels this teamwork is important and encourages this by emphasizing education of chronic health conditions, and promoting lifestyle changes.
